Ignatian Spirituality
Resources

The tenets of Ignatian spirituality—finding God in all things, a generous response to God's will, spiritual discernment, contemplation in action, a commitment to promoting justice, and becoming men and women for others—are central to Ignatians West's vision.

We offer these few resources for anyone who would like to deepen their understanding or perhaps enhance their spiritual journey.

If you're new to the concept of Ignatian spirituality, you might want to start with this brief essay:  "What is Ignatian Spirituality?"

Or check out these fine websites for a deeper dive...!

Fr. Randy Roche, SJ, long-time director of Director of the Center for Ignatian Spirituality at LMU, has been publishing weekly spiritual essays for more than 20 years.  All of his essays have in common the offering of some application of Ignatian discernment. And they derive from his belief that the supply of inspirations is ultimately from an infinite Source.

Find Randy's most current essay here, along with an archive of past works.

Although they’re not all strictly “Ignatian Spirituality,” we thought you might find inspiration in some of the same books that our volunteers have read together and discussed over recent years.
